FUND DESCRIPTION

Fund‘s Investment Policy

Prudentis Baltic Fund aims to benefit its investors from forecasted long term economic growth in the Baltic States by investing into shares of companies which receive substantial part of their revenues and income from doing business in this region.  The fund will mostly focus on investing into companies that are most likely beneficiaries of this economic growth.  The fund will try to acquire such companies at reasonable price and will focus on good long term investment performance.

The fund can invest more than 50% of its assets into companies that are listed on Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn stock exchanges.  Up to 50% of assets may be invested into companies that are listed on London, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki stock exchanges.

The potential Investor has to have long investment horizon and has to be able to accept high investment risk.

Benchmark

 

Nasdaq OMX‘s OMX Baltic Benchmark Capped Gross Index incorporates the most liquid and highly capitalized industrial and service companies traded on the stock exchanges of the Baltic States.  The weights of companies in the indec depends on the liquidity, total market cap and the market cap of free float.  OMX BB CAP GI Index is reviewed semiannually – on January 1st, and July 1st.  This index is a total return index, incorporating the dividends received.  Weight of one company is limited to 10%.  Index currency is EUR.  At the beginning of 2008 there were 35 companies in the index, among which 43,7% were Lithuanian, 47,3% Estonian and  8,4% Latvian.  In terms of industries consumer goods had 23,7% share, financials - 17,72%.  Tallinn based shipping company Tallink Grupp (9,0%), Lithuanian fixed line incumbent TEO LT (8.4%) and Lithuanian conglomerate Invalda (6,3%) were the largest components of the index.
